Every time I go on a trip abroad, it makes me realize how fortunate and blessed we (Bhutanese people) are. The fresh air we breathe, the clean water we drink, the beautiful nature we enjoy, the peace and tranquility we experience, the wonderful culture and traditions we have, and the free education and healthcare we receive. We take all these for granted, but when we travel abroad we come to realize how important and valuable they are in our lives. We are all privileged to live in such a wonderful and caring society. Today we enjoy all these blessings because of His Majesty’s hard work, personal sacrifices, compassion and love for his people. This gave me the inspiration and encouragement to initiate this project to pay tribute to our beloved King for all the blessings in our lives.
